Not so much of the software games, pretty much a straight read with so neat trivia. I thought it was interesting how many people Carol King wrote for, or what Elton John's Someone Saved my live is about. Or what ACDC went through to get the bell sample for Hell's Bells? And some of the facts behind Chicago by CSN. Interesting stuff. Enjoy!~

Bread - Baby I'm a Want You
AC/DC - Hells Bells

Crosby Stills Nash - Chicago
John Dever - Sunshine On My Shoulder

Name the rocker who would deliberately set his head on fire!, What song did Stevie Wonder write for Smokey Robinson? and what song did Paul Revere write that wasn't a hit in the US that the Monkees did take high on the charts? That and more!

Arthur Brown - I Am the God of Hell-fire
Jerry Reed - When Your Hot
Smoky Robinson - The Tears of a Clown
Paul Revere - I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone
Neil Young - Hey Hey My My

#8 Dirty Deeds in a Mellow Yellow Brick House

I really enjoyed this mix. And before any of you jump me for Southern Cross, yes I know it was on a 1980 album, but the recording was done much earlier and the album was delayed because Crosby was not included due to low productivity and drug uses. The others proceeded without him and the record company would not release the album until Stills and Nash reinstated Crosby. Who knew!?

Mellow Yellow - Donavan
Sothern Cross - Crosby Still Nash
Dirty Deeds - AC/DC
I'm Burning for You - Blue Oyster Cult
Turn the Page - Bob Seager
Don't Look Back - Boston
Have you Ever Seen the Rain - CCR
Brick House - Commodores
Mama Don't Dance - Dr. Hook
Urgent - Foreigner

I was still working out the kinks. And remember it was suppose to be kinda tongue in cheek. Never thought it would get to a regular show. Who knew?! So, I decided to always open with Here I Come and close with GreenTambourine. Some pretty good facts and other stuff, but I am always open for more. If you have 60s or 70s rock facts about songs or band, let me know!

Hold on loosely	- 38 Special
Spirit in the Sky - Norm Greenbaum
Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple
Dont fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Radar Love - Golden Earring
Magic Carpet - Ride Steppenwolf
Ramblin Man - Allman Brothers

Ok, here we go! Now, relax, this was my first try. I have played with this program on WRFR for a couple of months and got some laughs and got some fans. But instead of doing what I did with my first podcast (starting in with the latest episode) I thought that I would start right from the very first mix. So the facts and info are terse, but still interesting. The mix was right off some of the old mix cds I used to make. Enjoy here is the list

School Out
House of the Rising Sun
Paranoid

Smoking Gun
I love you to want me
Nights in White Satin

And just so you don't get confused in the coming weeks...I always open with Here I Come and close with Green Tambourine
